ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW
Please bring sunscreen, water, and comfortable clothing for sitting in a safari vehicle. Dependent on the time of year, you may want to bring a rain jacket, hat, sunglasses, and/or other protective items for shielding against the elements. Safari vehicles aren’t completely enclosed, making it important to come prepared. As long as the game drive is the only thing on the itinerary for that day, vibrant-colored clothing is fine if you’re staying inside of the vehicle. We usually will have ponchos, blankets, snacks, and water in the vehicle too. Don’t forget to bring your camera and binoculars!

Please bring sunscreen, water, comfortable walking clothes, and a walking or hiking stick if needed. Walking safaris can last between two and four hours, making it important that you have the appropriate clothing and gear for light to intermediate walking. Since there is no paved walking path, comfortable walking shoes with non-slip treads are ideal. Please do not wear any vibrant, bright colors or white during your walking safari. Neutral safari clothing provides a safer journey during this trek. Don’t forget to bring your camera and binoculars!

We will do everything we can to give you the opportunities to see the Big Five. However, please be cognizant that we can’t control wildlife and nature. While it is very possible to encounter wildlife on your walking safari, we take every measure possible to ensure your safety. Armed park rangers will accompany you and your nature guide during your adventure. Please listen to the instructions given by your nature guide and park rangers to stay as safe as possible.
Yes, boat safaris are safe as long as you listen to the instructions given by your nature guide. The waters do contain predators so please exercise caution and stay within the confines of the boat. Emergency gear is always available for accidental overboard.

That depends on what you’re looking for! The most popular time to visit is usually during our winter months, June to October, since the weather is cooler and some animals are more active. This time of year can be more expensive and a lot more crowded. Visiting during our summer months can provide some savings and can be a better time to see Victoria Falls without getting completely soaked. We’re happy to go over the cost-benefit of different times to visit, please contact us for more information!
Most accommodations will have wi-fi available, however, this is not guaranteed. Some private lodges and tented camps are located within our national parks and won’t have any connection. If you require a wi-fi connection for work or something else, please let us know and we can arrange to stay at accommodations that provide wi-fi.
